Personality: Adonis is fun-loving, sarcastic and light-hearted with a particularly twisted (and usually perverted) sense of humor that often gets him looks from more conservative wizards and witches. He’s always got a wry smile spread across his face, but delivers his jokes with as much seriousness as he can muster. As well, he’s very loyal to his friends, and doesn’t easily forgive and forget actions taken against him because he expects his friends to hold him to the same level as he holds them. Regardless, he prides himself on his social abilities and although he’s darker than most he gathers quite the circle of friends where ever he goes.

If there’s a prank to be pulled or a dangerous avenue to explore, you can bet Adonis will be the first (if only) one there to investigate and poke around. He finds lots of excitement in going to places most people cringe over, and tries to find a souvenir to take with him. His collection of “souvenirs” is quite extensive, but random: a tree root from the dark forest of Yorkford, a pressed flower from the fields of Eternia, and a chipped piece of cement from the abandoned subways of Demshire are only a few. One such souvenir is a white and blue crystal that he wears on a necklace which is a memento of his mother’s origins and current residence.

Being that he’s a 15 year old, his hormones tend to rage constantly and his sarcasm is constantly tainted with tongue-in-cheek humor. He isn’t afraid to goose the occasional 7th year in the corridors if he’s sure that he can get away with it. If he’s spacing out in muggle studies, one can only imagine where his mind is trudging, but the glassy look in his eyes accompanied by the slight smile twitching at his lips tell it all. Adonis is a real boy’s boy from cussing to vandalizing to creating whatever adventure he can to keep himself amused during the long Hogwarts nights.

Secrets: Adonis’s father, Lu, is a master wizard of the dark arts from a dying Pureblood family and his mother is a dryad of royal status in Ireland. Adonis doesn’t like talking about his parents for obvious reasons, so he avoids the topic at all costs; he himself is a neutral wizard that particularly excels with natural remedies and fortune-telling, although he doesn’t always make the most accurate predictions.
History: Adonis lived in Ireland from birth until he was six, then he moved to a grand mansion in Woodstock, England. While in Ireland, Adonis had a very natural life. He literally lived in a cave, and ran around naked for 90% of his time there. His mother taught him all that he knows about herbology and divination, and he made many pets of wild animals.

Always buried in a book if not roaming the forests, plains, and caves around him, Adonis was a sponge for information and practical knowledge as a child. His father decided to move to England due to his career as a Potions brewer, but this job is only what Lu does on the surface. As much as Lu doesn’t disclose information about his actual dealings, Adonis would rather keep out of it because he’s sure that they’re all very dark in nature. While he also obtained extensive potions knowledge from his father, he seems a lot more reluctant to exercise it. He was always creeped out by specific ingredients his father’s potions used (like bat wing, gull eye, centaur penis, and such).

Another reason why Adonis had to move from Ireland was because of conflict involved between dryad families that had grown to the point of violent war. He was personally involved in the conflict when his mother’s forest was raided, and has a long, jagged scar that follows the entire length of his spine to prove it. He nearly died when he received the wound, but was narrowly saved by the queen dryad, his grandmother, and part of his memory was erased so that he would forget most of the traumatic event. All he can remember is seeing the meliae prince of the rival royal family stabbing his way through Adonis’s uncle. What he can’t remember is that the prince plucked him from his mother’s arms and slid the blade down his spine while his mother and siblings watched. His grandfather, from behind, bashed in the skull of the meliae prince and for three days and nights his grandmother stayed with Adonis in a far underground chamber beneath a holy willow, healing his wounds and repairing his injuries. He was five at the time. The wand that he carries was made from part of that same willow.

Adonis has always resented his father because he’s a lot more passive by nature and his father is a dark magic extremist. His mother was much more understanding of his peace-loving ways and did her best to nurture the side that Adonis clearly preferred. Part of the reason why she did this, though, is because she knows that he has as much of his father’s ways in him as hers, and to nurture his father’s ways would be to encourage a killer psychopath with a very dark sense of humor. Needless to say, some of his father comes out in him, but in much less extreme ways.

He currently lives with his father and siblings, and is awaiting turning 18 so that he might get his chunk of inheritance from the massive Blackwater family fortune. (The Blackwater name has a very ancient history of proud purebloodism that remained pure until Lu's marriage to the dryad princess Elyre, but it might not be around for much longer if anything were to happen to Adonis and Terry.) In Woodstock he’s part of an alley gang that’s made entirely of muggles, and more than once he’s shown off his wizarding skills under the premise that the boys never tell their families or friends outside of the gang. Due to their loyalty to each other, the secret has never gotten out, but more than once Adonis has been visited by the ministry and punished by his father for it. Other than the rare wizarding trick, the gang mostly works through graffiti and mischief on the townsfolk and livestock. Adonis fancies himself the ringleader, but no one really gives titles within the group.

Adonis is a pale, lean teenager whose black hair is shaggy, straight, and hangs down to his multiply pierced ears. His eyes are a dark color that aren’t any specific shade from one minute to the next, a feature that he inherited from his mother, but it’s hard to notice unless you’re really gazing into his eyes. In actuality, many female students notice this attribute because Adonis typically forces himself on any “hawties” that he can manage to flirt into submissive giggles and gasps. His relaxed street style makes it hard not to give him a look-over.
Typically, he doesn’t do anything to his hair unless he’s feeling creative. Then he’ll wax it into stylish quills in some sort of modern American-whippy-doo. He’s very informal about the Hogwarts uniform and is more likely to tie his tie around his head than have it tied on his chest. When out of uniform, he wears sagging long baggy shorts or pants accompanied with tight t-shirts (the tighter the better) or underarmor (depending on the season) and the occasional sweatshirt or leather jacket. He’s also a big fan of skate shoes and biker boots, and classy male jewelry like neck chains, watches, and thick wrist bands that accent his skinniness and muscliness.

Other: Adonis tries not to be unpopular with the professors or students, but sometimes his actions and jokes bring a lot of disfavor towards him amongst the staff. Not so deep down (he tries to make it as outward as possible) he loves reading and learning, and having a good time with everyone, even if it means playing peace maker.
