The history of Aparecium is NOT the same as the canon history of Harry Potter. Listed here are some notes on our history to help you when making a character or posting.
HISTORY
Voldemort, previously Tom Riddle, graduated from Hogwarts some 21 years ago. (Term 2 Update: 22 years ago. Tom Riddle is 39 years old.) He began the Death Eaters for the first time 9 years ago. (Term 2 Update: 10 years ago) Lord Voldemort was never killed, and as such, appears as a normal person aside from his eyes. Still, few people see him, and those who do (Death Eaters) do not realize who he used to be. The Order of the Phoenix was formed roughly half a year after the Death Eaters were first formed. This is the first incarnation of the Order and the Death Eaters. Therefore, the members of both organizations are the original members; they can't be sons and daughters of people who were "original" Death Eaters or Order members.
NOTES!
NO ONE currently is aware that Tom Riddle is Lord Voldemort. NO ONE knows who the Head of the Order is. No Death Eaters have been captured by the Ministry as of yet. They have only suspicions.
